With the centre scrapping the CBSE examination of class 12, the state boards need to ponder upon its implications in the context of the lockdown and pandemic in their territory, integrity of schools, education and evaluation pattern.
Earlier, over one lakh students of classes 10 and 12 signed petitions urging the CBSE, and government to either cancel the board exams or conduct them in online mode.
Under the new CBSE rule, students can appear for improvement exams within the same academic year.
The datesheet is now available at CBSE's official website.
The board exam results will be declared by July 15.
