A police team on Wednesday busted a drug manufacturing unit at Yairipok in Thoubal district and seized huge quantity of suspected brown sugar and opium worth Rs 90 crore in the international market.
The arrested cop identified as MD Mujibur Rahman has been working as Manipur Police head constable posted in Tamenglong district.
One Mohammed Daulat Khan, 22, son of (Late) Md Allauddin of Thoubal Moijing Awang Leikai, Thoubal district was arrested.
