The outbreak of fever among the pigs in several places in the valley had become talk of the town with prices of pork falling down from the usual Rs 360-380 per kg to Rs 180 per kg in meat houses across the valley while the Manipur Veterinary and Animal Husbandry department still remain as if in a deep slumber.
