‘Let evil thoughts of disturbing peace rest in peace’
AMUCO, since 1998, has been observing August 4 as ‘Manipur Integrity Day’ with the aim to protect the state.
The observance committee appealed to the people of the state to extend support to the steps taken up by the United Committee Manipur (UCM) and the All Manipur United Club Organisation (AMUCO) to protect the integrity of the state, a release stated.
There are hardly any individuals who can take action against irregularities in implementation of PMGKAY since the agents in localities are people who have close connection with those in power, says AMUCO.
"Selling of tobacco items and other anti social elements should be strictly banned from in and around colleges, institutions and schools."
AMUCO said the ‘War Against Drugs’ must be strengthened so that drug lords and kingpins can no longer have the freedom or power to carry out illicit activities.
Local clubs and meira paibis must proceed with war against drugs instead of blocking roads, says the All Manipur United Club Organisation.
Manipur Integrity Day 2020: Commemorating the day, the AMUCO paid floral tributes at the integrity pillar located near Manipur State Museum in Imphal.
The Manipur government needs to declare what it wants from the people following new developments, says All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO)
