Sarat Chandra’s ‘Chahaheidaba Heirang’ released

A Manipuri version of the third part of the novel Srikanth written by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay  translated by Tensubam Kunjakishore titled Chahaheidaba Heirang was  released on Tuesday in Imphal.

The novel, published by Shiroy Publication, was released at a function held at mini auditorium of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Imphal.

The event was attended by Sahitya Akademi awardee and member of general council, Sahitya Akademi-New Delhi, Jodhchandra Sharma, president of Sea-Waves, Manipur, Salam Tomba, president of Manipuri Literary Society, Imphal, Samurailatpam Prahald Sharma and associate professor, DM College of Arts, Lanchenbi Meitei as dignitaries, a release stated.
