Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address Convocation of IIT, Guwahati

A total of 1,803 students, including 687 BTech and 637 MTech students, will be obtaining degrees from IIT, Guwahati on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the convocation of IIT, Guwahati through video-conferencing at 12 noon Tuesday.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre and other dignitaries will participate in the event, the Prime Minister's Office said in a release.

A total of 1,803 students, including 687 BTech and 637 MTech students, will be obtaining degrees on Tuesday, the release added.
