Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday expressed that the vexed Naga political issue has concluded on October 31 on a positive note according to the release issued by DIPR Nagaland.
Rio was speaking on the inaugural session of the 19th Biennial General Conference of All Nagaland College Student’s Union (ANCSU) held in Zunheboto town, hosted by Zunheboto Government College on November 7.
On the Act East Policy, the Nagaland chief minister said it would open many doors for the people of Nagaland as the highway leading to South East Asia would have to go through Northeast and Nagaland particularly, the release said.
The crux of his speech was directed to the need and importance of acquiring training and skills in various disciplines, it further said.
“Youth should be skilled and trained,” Rio said, adding, “to feed into market demands. We have huge potential, the youth today is smart, educated but an extra effort is required to get skills and acquire training”.
