‘Ordinary Love’ set to fire up Valentine’s Day in India

Ordinary Love, a romantic drama flim, directed by Lisa Barros D’sa and Glenn Leyburn, and starring actors Liam Neeson and Lesley Manville, will be released in India and the US on February 14, Valentine’s Day. Actor Amit Shah from The Hundred-Foot Journey also plays a key role in the Hollywood film, according to a release.

The release of the much-awaited film, Ordinary Love, in India was announced by PVR Pictures on Wednesday.

Written by playwright Owen McCafferty, Ordinary Love is a love story about Tom (Neeson) and Joan (Manville). The film was first released on December 6, 2019 in Ireland.

The makers revealed a glimpse of the story in a release: The relationship of Joan and Tom, married for many years, takes a new turn when Joan is diagnosed with breast cancer. The course of her treatment shines a light on their relationship, as they are faced with the challenges that lie ahead and the prospect of what the future holds if something were to happen to her.

Ordinary Love, which trailer was released in September 2019, had its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2019.
