The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will convene a consultative meeting on January 7, 2020, in connection with the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Kohima.
According to a NPF notification, the meeting is being convened by its president Shurhozelie Liezietsu “in response to the recommendation of Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) (of the party) and in exercise of the powers conferred, Article V, Clause 3 of the party constitution” to the president of the party.
Those who will be participating in the meeting include Central Office Bearers (COB), NPF MLAs, “presidents of frontal organisations and cells”, presidents of the NPF divisions and “invitees”.
“The main agenda of the meeting is CAA and issues connected with it. Therefore, all concerned members are requested to attend without fail,” said the notice of the party issued by its president Shurhozelie Liezietsu.
The meeting will begin from 11 am at NPF Central office in Kohima.
