The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will convene a consultative meeting on January 7 in connection with the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Kohima, according to a notification issued by the party.
The NPF meeting, convened by party president Shurhozelie Liezietsu, will begin at 11 am at NPF Central office in Kohima, a notification issued by the party stated.
The meeting is being convened “in response to the recommendation of Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) (of the party) and in exercise of the powers conferred, Article V, Clause 3 of the party constitution” to the president of the party, the party stated.
“The main agenda of the meeting is CAA and issues connected with it. Therefore, all concerned members are requested to attend without fail,” stated the party in the notification issued by its president Shurhozelie Liezietsu.
Central Office Bearers (COB), NPF MLAs, presidents of frontal organisations and cells, presidents of the NPF divisions and invitees will attend the meeting, according to the notification.
