No honourable solution without Naga Flag, Constitution: NSCN (I-M)

The central administrative office, Lotha Region, GPRN, also has affirmed that the Naga solution should be based on the historic Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015.

The NSCN (I-M) had reiterated its stand for recognising and respecting the Naga Flag and Constitution for an honourable and acceptable Naga political solution.

The Office of the Wung Tangkhul Region, the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) and Lotha Region, GPRN on Saturday issued statements extending unflinching support to the collective leadership of NSCN and the Framework Agreement. 

 “It is a well known reality before the world community that the government of India (Gol) officially took cognisance of the sovereignty of the Naga people and accordingly agreed for sharing of sovereign power to be the basis for honourable solution between the two entities (Gol and Nagas),” said the statement issued by central administrative officer, Wung Tangkhul Region. 

It further said that there cannot be an honourable solution as envisioned in the Framework Agreement without respecting and recognising the Naga Flag and Constitution. 

Meanwhile, the central administrative office, Lotha Region, GPRN, has also affirmed that the Naga solution should be based on the historic Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015. 

It said that Naga flag and Yehzabo (Constitution) must form a part of the Naga political solution in order to make it honourable and acceptable. 

 “We have the strong believe that government of India will display her political maturity by honouring the historical and political rights of the Naga people,” it added
