Nagaland government bars visitors to administrative buildings over COVID-19 threat

Entry of visitors to Nagaland government administrative buildings has been restricted in view of the coronavirus threat, according to a government notification.

Although there has been no reports of COVID-19 case in Nagaland, the state restrictions on visitors to government buildings would be in place till further orders, officials said.

State authorities have also started screening of all people entering the state by trains at the Dimapur railway station and by road at different check gates at the inter-state borders.  

The state government has also directed all deputy commissioners to suspend enrollment activities where biometric records are required to be taken.
