Manipur chapter of Association of Health Providers of India formed
Manipur Chapter of AHPI was formed with Dr Palin Khundongbam as president, Dr A Vivekananda as vice-president and Dr james Elangbam as secretary.
The Manipur Chapter of Association of Health Providers of India (AHPI) was formed on Monday with Dr Palin Khundongbam as president, Dr A Vivekananda as vice-president and Dr james Elangbam as secretary, according to a release.
As per the release, the Manipur Chapter of AHPI was formed with the approval from AHPI headquarter in New Delhi.
Shija Hospital & Research Institute Pvt Ltd, Jivan hospital, Chamber hospital, Babina diagnostics, Padma diagnostics, Noor hospital, Advance hospital, Imphal heart institute, Iboyaima hospital, Acme fertility & healthcare centre, ultracare sonoscans, CMC hospital, Ragini memorial hospital, Samaritan hospital, Mother’s care children hospital, Remedy hospital, Sangai healthcare & research centre, Escent diagnostics, Public hospital, Medilane healthcare & consultancy services, Langol view laboratory clinic, Raj medicity, Sky hospital and Imphal hospital, will be the members of the AHPI from Manipur, the release stated.
“Dr Dhabali Thangjam, Dr Ratan Khumanthem, Dr Gary Haokip, Dr Ashok Yengkhom, Rajen Haobijam and Fr Khumlo Tangshel Anal, have been appointed as the executive committee members of the body,” it stated, adding Dr Palin Khundongbam has also been appointed as the convener of NE chapter of AHPI.
The release further stated that AHPI works on improving quality of healthcare through training and up skilling, healthcare education and national healthcare policy. AHPI works closely with NITI Aayog and Health and Family Welfare Ministry, Government of India to make universal quality healthcare accessible to the masses, it added.
