The proscribed Alliance for Socialist Unity Kangleipak (ASUK) has taken up the matter of discrepancies in the conduct of the Class X and XII examinations by the COHSEM and BOSEM and to prevent their re-occurrence enforced some measures.

In a release, ASUK has said that it has imposed ‘curfew’ within 200 metres of all the examination centres where the examinations will be held for Class X and XII from February 14 and 17 respectively.

The invigilators as well as the students will not be allowed to carry to the examination halls any books, written sheets, i-pads, tablets, mobile phones, cameras or any other devices similar to these, it stated.

The invigilators will not be allowed to aid the students in any way, including allowing them to copy from each other with the knowledge of the invigilators, it added.

ASUK stated that if the invigilators do not keep to these guidelines the whole responsibility would fall on the OC of the examination centre.

The council, board, flying squad should not be interfered with when they carry out their work of stopping students from cheating, or disallowing them to continue taking their examinations, it stated.

The original question papers and other question papers should not be sent on the social media by anyone, it added.
