An association called Jadonang Memorial College Teachers Association (JMCTA) was formed during a joint meeting of all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college on Friday.
The meeting was chaired by Gaisinlung and Thaigongngam as the meeting convenor and recording secretary respectively.
The teachers association shall hence be called ‘Jadonang Memorial College Teachers Association’ abbreviated as ‘JMCTA.’ which will represent both teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, the meeting resolved.
The meeting agreed to create office bearers with designations with their respective elected representatives.
The JMCTA aims to work and promote the welfare and interest of the teaching and non- teaching staff and strive for the rights of the existing teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, which is situated at Longmai, Noney district.
