Children’s Film Festival to be held in Imphal from March 1-3

A three-day Children’s Film Festival will be held on March 1-3, at MSFDS Auditorium in Imphal.

Organised by the Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) in association with the Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Government of Manipur, the festival will screen award winning children’s films in three different show time- first show at 11 am, second show at 1 pm and third show at 3:30 pm..

The film Windstorm (English) will be shown at inaugural function of the festival on March 1, from 2 pm.

While Kaphal (English Dubbed), Happy Mother’s Day (English Dubbed) and Ak Tha Bhujang (Manipuri Dubbed) films will be screened on the second day, Kauwboy (English Dubbed), Panti Ka Sabun (English Dubbed) and Gattu (Manipuri Dubbed) will be screened on the third day.

The entry to the film festival is free.

State Art and Culture Minister Jayentakumar Singh will be the chief guest at the inaugural of the festival, the organisers said.

M Joy Singh, Commissioner, Art and Culture, Manipur, will attend the festival as function president and Dinesh Negi of Children’s Film Society, India, will be the guest of honour, they added.
