The Central Board of Secondary (CBSE) on Thursday announced that practicals for the final board examinations will be conducted from January 1 to February 7, 2020 in respective schools and the theory papers for skill subjects are likely to begin from February 15, 2020.
“Schools will conduct practical examinations and Project assessments from 1st January, 2020 to 7th February, 2020,” the CBSE said in a circular issued heads of all CBSE affiliated schools across the country.
The Board said that schools should upload the marks on the CBSE website link provided immediately after the assessment is over. And schools should ensure correct marks are uploaded as no correction of marks will be entertained once marks are uploaded on the CBSE website – http://www.cbse.nic.in/
“While uploading marks, schools will ensure that correct marks are uploaded as no correction in the marks will be allowed once marks are uploaded,” the circular stated, adding that schools should also keep in mind maximum marks allotted for Practical/Project while awarding/uploading marks.
The CBSE final examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 main papers are likely to be conducted in March and April 2020.
