Football Club Lamjao move into semi final

FC Lamjao, Kakching made the cut to the semi final beating SDC Samurou by 14-6 goals in the 1st Colonel Ksh Arunkumar Memorial Futsal Tournament 2021 played at Poloi Artificial Turf, Chingarel Tezpur.

Winning all their three games in the Group D league, Football Club Lamjao overcame KYVO Bishnupur by 8-6 goals in their first match and they came up with the second win beating YOSC Khurai by 10-6 goals.

Th Dilipkumar and M Sushil also inspired his teammates, scoring two goals each while S Punsiba fetched one goal. SDC player A Robin conceded an own goal to its opponent kitty.

Pushed back to their own territory for the first twenty minute of play, SDC Samurou broke the barrier with Th Nitish finding the nets, scoring two goals to lift the morale of his teammates. Later, L Nikeshor brings home two goals while A Robin and Kishan Narem bring up a goal each, but not good enough for the day.

In the other matches of the day, RAU Lairikyengbam Leikai beat YWU Kakching by 12-8 goals while Classic Football Academy beat GDC Thinungei by 13-5 goals and SSC Porompat drubbed AKFC Chandel by 11-5 goals.
