Micro legal services camp held in Chandel

The beneficiaries were assisted in preparation and enrolment of labour cards by officials, panel lawyers and its para-legal volunteers, DLSA, Chandel stated in a release.

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Chandel announced that under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and in association with Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA), it has organised a Micro Legal Services Camp at Khuhringkhuw Village, Chandel, extending free legal services to beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries were assisted in preparation and enrolment of labour cards by officials, panel lawyers and its para-legal volunteers, DLSA, Chandel stated in a release issued by its secretary Lamkhoal Kipgen.

It stated that panel lawyer of DLSA, Chandel K Kopham enlightened the beneficiaries on the NALSA Legal services App which has been created by NALSA for use by the general public to avail legal services. The beneficiaries were encouraged to download the App, the release further stated, adding pamphlets on Free and Competent Legal Aid were also distributed to the beneficiaries.
