Final Result of Civil Services Examination 2020 declared

Candidate Shubham Kumar topped the UPSC Civil Services examination, followed by Jagrati Awasthi and Ankita Jain in second and third rank respectively.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday declared the final results of the civil services examination 2020. As many as 761 candidates have cleared the examination.

Of the 761 candidates who cleared the examination, Shubham Kumar has topped the examination, followed by Jagrati Awasthi and Ankita Jain in second and third rank respectively.

Of the passed candidates, 545 are men and 216 women. 

A total of six candidates from Manipur cleared the civil services examination 2020. 

The UPSC written examination for civil services was held in January 2021 and the interviews for personality test was held in August-September 2021.

In order of the merit, candidates been recommended for appointment to: Indian Administrative Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service; and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.

Appointment to the various services will be made according to the number of vacancies available with due consideration to the provisions contained in the Rules for the Examination, the UPSC stated in a release as it announced the final results.
