Minister Rajen extends condolences, flags off motorcycle rally
The rally participated by around 1,000 youths will be covering all the inter-village roads of the Patsoi assembly constituency.
Manipur Education Minister S Rajen extended his condolences to the family members and friends of those who had passed away due to COVID-19, during a mass Covid awareness programme at Sagolband Moirang Hanuba, Imphal West on Sunday.
He also flagged off a motorcycle rally as a part of the Covid awareness programme organised by the BJP Patsoi Mandal and sponsored by senior ophthalmic surgeon of University Hospital Derby and Bruton HNS Trust, United Kingdom S Krishnananda.
The rally participated by around 1,000 youths will be covering all the inter-village roads of the Patsoi assembly constituency. Rajen said that such programmes are the need of the hour to completely eradicate the Coronavirus from the state.
Recalling the works and contributions made by S Modhumogol Sharma, one of the founding members of BJP in Manipur and father of S Krishnananda, Rajen called upon the youths of Patsoi assembly constituency to join hands and work for the betterment of the society.
The minister also assured to extend possible support in the social, humanitarian and development works being initiated in the Patsoi assembly constituency.
While urging the people of Patsoi assembly constituency to fight against COVID-19, Krishnananda said that youths are the pillars of the society, and it is high time for the people of Patsoi to build a better future and work in tandem with the development vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He also said that the rally was organised in connection with the nationwide celebration of 71st birth anniversary of Modi.
