14 injured as under-construction flyover in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex collapses
The Santacruz-Chembur Link Road flyover in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex collapsed early Friday.
At least 14 people sustained injuries after a portion of an under-construction flyover at Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai’s Bandra East collapsed Friday, sources said.
The mishap took place around 4.40 a.m. when a girder of the Santacruz-Chembur Link Road (SCLR) flyover crashed, according to reports.
All the injured are in stable condition and there is no casualty and no missing person, police sources said.
The flyover is being constructed on Santacruz-Chembur Link Road in Bandra East by MMRDAA to reduce traffic congestion on the east-west link and the Bandra-Kurla Complex area.
