India's daily COVID-19 positive caseload falls to 25,404

The country’s total COVID-19 active caseload reached 3,62,207, accounting for 1.09 per cent of the total confirmed cases of 3,32,89,579.

A total of 25,404 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported across India in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said on Tuesday.

The country’s total COVID-19 active caseload reached 3,62,207, accounting for 1.09 per cent of the total confirmed cases of 3,32,89,579.

The COVID-19 Recovery Rate currently is 97.58 per cent as 37,127 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours that pushed the total number of recoveries to 3,24,84,159.

The country’s COVID-19 death toll mounted to 4,43,213 with 339 more fatalities recorded in the last 24 hours.

The country’s Weekly Positivity Rate remained less than three per cent for last 81 days at 2.07 per cent, while the daily positivity rate remained less than three per cent for last the 15 days at 1.78 per cent.

Meanwhile a total of over 54.44 crore tests have been conducted so far and over 75.22 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
