Seven Karate kids, including five boys and two girls, from Moreh in Tengnoupal district of Manipur are set to take part in the ISFK National Karate Championship 2021 in Assam scheduled on Sepember 10-12.

The three-day 7th ISFK National Karate Championship, organised under the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF), will be held at Shemford Futuristic School, Nalapara road, Guwahati, Assam.

The seven Karate kids were selected from Moreh branch of Scishinkai Shito Ryu Karate Do Manipur to take part in the national championship.

Led by coach Arangbam Greatson Meitei, the karate kids team left Moreh on Wednesday after the blessing ceremony held at Ima Kundong Lairembi Haraobung Moreh. The team from Moreh was flagged off by the vice president of Meitei Council Moreh L Tomba Singh.
