Kabi Leitanthem Ram Singh Memorial Trust, Thoubal in association with Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal observed the 98th birth anniversary of Kabi Leitanthem Ram Singh on Tuesday.
The occasion was held at the office of Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal in Thoubal Okram. President of Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal, retired wing commander Ak Debendra and president of the Trust Th Khomdol attended the occasion.
At the programme organised in strict compliance to Covid guidelines, floral tributes were offered to late Kabi Ram Singh. Poems dedicated to the late poet were also recited during the event. The speakers recalled how Kabi Ram Singh helped in providing education to the women and the roles he took in bringing progress in the field of literature.
