The All Manipur Hill Areas 10th and 11th IRB Candidates 2019 announced full support of the proposed agitation by the All Manipur 10th and 11th Viva-Voce Completed IRB Rifleman and Written Completed Jemadar Candidates 2019 if the state government continued to neglect the candidates' demand for completion of the recruitment process.
A release by the All Manipur Hill areas 10th and 11th IRB Candidates 2019 stated that the state government has neglected the request of the candidates to complete the recruitment process and declaration of the results.
The prolonged delay in declaring the results and recruitment process is unacceptable, it added.
All Manipur 10th and 11th Viva-Voce Completed IRB Rifleman and Written Completed Jemadar Candidates 2019 had declared on August 29 that they will launch an agitation anytime soon if the state government continued to neglect their demand. The candidates had also declared that the state government must be held responsible for any untoward incident in the event of a protest, the release stated.
The candidates also claimed that it is the incapability of the state government that the recruitment process which began in January 2019 remained incomplete till date, it added.
