India's COVID-19 active caseload accounts for 1.19 pc of total confirmed cases

India's total COVID-19 positive caseload reached 3,30,58,843 as of Tuesday.

India reported 31,222 new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the total COVID-19 active caseload to 3,92,864, which is 1.19 per cent of the 3,30,58,843 total confirmed cases, according to the latest update by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday.

The country’s COVID-19 death toll mounted to 4,41,042 with 290 more deaths, while the total recoveries reached 3,22,24,937 as 42,942 more patients recovered from the disease.

The country’s COVID-19 Recovery Rate currently is 97.48 per cent.

The weekly COVID-19 positivity rate currently is 2.56 per cent, less than three per cent for last 74 days, while the daily positivity rate is reported to be 2.05 per cent less than three per cent for the last eight days.

Meanwhile 53.31 crore total tests have been conducted across the country so far, while a total of 69,90,62,776 vaccine doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
