The district magistrate of Ukhrul in an order stated that the containment zone order in whole of Halang village is revoked as all concerned have been retested and found negative. On August 17 last, the district magistrate had sealed, barred entry and exit of population from Halang village due to the impending threat of COVID-19 pandemic. The village falls under the 45-Chingai assembly constituency.
