Manipur Hockey constitutes seven-member panel as junior selector

Former Olympian Ksh Thoiba Singh will lead as chairman of the selection panel while Ksh Santakumar as convenor.

The Manipur Hockey has constituted a seven-member selection panel to pick up players for the Hockey India Junior Championship to be held in October, 2021.

Former Olympian Ksh Thoiba Singh will lead as chairman of the selection panel while Ksh Santakumar as convenor. The other members are Ch Balla Singh, Ph Nirmalata Devi, N Chandikumar Singh, Ng Thaba Devi and M Rinash Singh.

The open selection process will start from September 6 to September 10 from 6:30 am daily. Affiliated clubs have been informed to send their players born on or before January 1, 2022 for the selection trial.

Furthermore, Hockey Manipur also appointed five coaches to train the players for the championship. The coaches are Roshankumar Singh, M Robert, Ch Memcha Devi, M Rinash Singh and Ch Nepolian Singh.
