Manipuri Peoples' Front (MPF), Assam categorically stated on Wednesday that it will always respect and cooperate with any Manipuri organisation for furthering the cause of Manipuris of Assam in days to come.
However, some organisations with vested interests are trying to mislead the Manipuris of Assam and attempting to defame the growing and popular image of MPF, stated a release.
The Manipuri Peoples' Front (MPF) was formed on May 24 as a pressure group to safeguard and protect the rights and interest of the Manipuris of Assam, it stated. From the day one of its formation, MPF has not undertaken any activities till date except for its expansion and development, it added.
MPF always stands for the Manipuris of Assam, it further stated, adding MPF earnestly requests the Manipuris of Assam not to be misled by any kind of irrelevant propaganda.
