ADC Bill 2021: ATSUM to hold public consultative meeting

ATSUM requested Inpis, Hohos, tribal scholars, politicians, lawyers, social leaders, women leaders, chief associations and tribal student leaders to take part in the meeting.

All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) has called for a 'Public Consultative Meeting' on August 24 at Amity Hall, Adimjati complex, Chingmeirong, Imphal to deliberate on further course of action for introduction of Manipur (Hill Areas) ADC Bill 2021 in the state assembly.

Issuing a clarion call through a statement on Monday, ATSUM requested Inpis, Hohos, tribal scholars, politicians, lawyers, social leaders, women leaders, chief associations and tribal student leaders to take part in the meeting.

Taking strong exception to this unconstitutional act adopted by the Cabinet Council, the ATSUM is constrained to convene public consultative meetings, the statement added.
