Sheihek Sheireng Shripal Shemgat Lup (SHEIPAL) celebrated its 15th foundation day through virtual mode.
Addressing the function, SHEIPAL secretary, KC Gita said that due to ongoing pandemic, the association was compelled to organise the foundation low-key through online mode. The lifetime achievement award of this year and ‘Dr Mayanglambam Kamala Sheirol Mana’ given by SHEIPAL every year would be declared in a few months after the pandemic situation is better.
She also informed that the association will be releasing a book for lyrics of patriotic songs. Any interested writer can submit their lyrics, however, each writer must submit not less than six lyrics.
As a part of the programme, one SHEIPAL member recited patriotic poems and song lyrics.
The programme was attended by SHEIPAL president, Athokpam Kholchandra and its vice-president, Kshetrimayum Subadani as presidium members. Other members of SHEIPAL were also present at the foundation day celebration.
