A felicitation ceremony for six candidates who successfully completed their studies in the field of theology was held at Chumbang Baptist Church, Chandel district on Wednesday.
The event was jointly organised by Chothe Baptist Churches Association Staffs, Chothe Baptist Churches Association’s Pastors and Ch.BCA Theological Forum.
The six successful candidates who had been given a warm felicitation were reverend Hranum Khiang Chothe, executive secretary of Ch.BCA with Doctor of Ministry (DD) At Voice of Christ Theological Institutes, India, on March 29, 2021; reverend Marim Shanglin Chothe, pastor of Lunghu Baptist Church, Chandel district, with Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.)at Chil Chil Global University, Kanglatongbi, Manipur, on 7th August 7, 2021; reverend Athem Khiang Chothe, a missionary to Siliguri from Chumbang Baptist Chuhrch with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Louisiana Baptist University, Shrevanport, Louisiana USA, on May 10, 2019; Yulhung Yulhoi Chothe, from Chumbang Baptist Church with Bachelor of Divinity (B. Div.) at Manipur Theological College, Kangpokpi, Manipur on December 5 2020; Yulhung Esther Chothe, from Chumbang Baptist Church with Bachelor of Divinity (B. Div.) at Trinity Theological College, Dimapur, Nagaland on April 28, 2021; Khiang Paingam Chothe, from Khongkhang Baptist Church with Bachelor of Theology (B. Th.) at Nagaland Baptist College, on April 13, 2021.
As a part of the event, the successful candidates were presented certificates of appreciation for successfully completing their studies in the field of theology and setting an example that hard work pays off.
Ch BCA’s staff, pastors and theological forum wished them and their family a great success and fruitful ministry.
The event began with an invocation by pastor, Leininghu Baptist Church Th Lungwang Chothe. Licenciate pastor Kh Tomcha of Phaihu Baptist Church extended words of encouragement and prayers for blessing of the six successful candidates. The Chothe Baptist Churches Association presented them with a memento and simple gifts.
