The EducationUSA stated that the participating US higher education institutions represent a wide geographic area in the United States and offer a range of academic programmes at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. It said the fair attendees can learn about various programmes and admission criteria at this virtual fair. The discussions with US universities and EducationUSA advisers will help students make informed choices about studying in the US, funding and scholarships, practical training options, and COVID-19 precautionary measures at US universities and colleges, it stated.

Students will also have the opportunity to get information about student visas through the US Bureau of Consular Affairs, the official source on visas, it added.

“In these extraordinary times across the world, EducationUSA India is making sure students have easy access to information about US higher education through our many online resources such as our upcoming virtual fair. We invite students and parents to make use of this opportunity to move closer to their dreams of studying in the United States,” says Adam Grotsky, Executive Director, United States-India Educational Foundation.

EducationUSA is the official source on US higher education and a member of the US Department of State’s network of over 425 international student advising centers around the world. EducationUSA Centers reach prospective student audiences through education fairs and outreach at schools, universities, and other public events through online sessions and social media platforms to provide accurate, comprehensive and current information about studying in the United States.

There are eight EducationUSA centers in India. They are in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi, hosted by different organizations in India – the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), Indo American Education Society, Ahmedabad, Yashna Trust, Bangalore and the Y-Axis Foundation (YAF), Hyderabad.
