One labourer of Coastal Project, working for the construction of Railway Tunnel No 12 in Sahebung village under the jurisdiction of New Keithelmanbi Police Station, died when a boulder stone fell on him at the construction site. The incident happened on Wednesday at around 11 am.

The deceased has been identified as Nabatosh Burman, 39, son of (Late) Namin Burman of Jiri Ghat Cha Bhagicha Part-2 Cachar, Assam. He succumbed to his injury at RIMS in Imphal.

In connection to this, New Keithelmanbi Police Station has filed a case and the mortal remains of Nabatosh was sent to his hometown after a post-mortem at RIMS on Thursday.
