Mizoram has tested almost all the returnees for COVID-19, said state Health Minister Dr R Lalthangliana on Sunday.
According to him, more than 12, 000 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the state. He also said that around the same number of stranded people have returned to the state till date.
The health minister, however, said that around 2,000 stranded people are yet to return to Mizoram.
Meanwhile, the total tally of COVID-19 in the state reached 151 on Sunday, according to the health department.
The department also said that four more fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported in the state in the past two days. One case of COVID-19 was reported in the state on Friday and three cases on Saturday night.
The source also said that two of them returned from New Delhi recently and two from Maharashtra.
The source also said that of the four fresh cases, two hailed from Mamit district and one each from Aizawl and Champahai districts.
On the brighter side, altogether eight COVID-19 had patients recovered in the past two days.
