Manipur Power Minister Th Biswajit on Friday said that uninterrupted power supply will be supplied at the Manipur University.
The minister said that four high mast lights and LED bulbs will be installed at different areas of the Manipur University (MU), Imphal,
Following a written complaint made by the MU authority on problems faced by the varsity, Biswajit gave the assurance while inspecting the campus.
During the visit, the minister and his team discussed with the varsity's vice-chancellor N Lokendra and registrar W Chandbabu on the different aspects and problems faced by the varsity.
After learning that the students face many difficulties during research and science practicals due to irregular power supply, the minister assured to provide uninterrupted power supply.
The minister and his team along with the officials of the varsity also checked the location for installing the high mast lights.
The minister was accompanied by managing director of MSPDCL Ng Subashchandra and DGM of MSPDCL Birjit and other engineers.
