An unidentified male was found dead at Ema Keithel number 2 under City police station at 1.30 am on Tuesday. According to police sources, the deceased looked to be above 50 years of age and a Meitei. The body was found with a black and white shirt on but without any pants. A bunch of keys was also found in his possession. City police station has taken up a case in connection with the incident. After a postmortem was conducted on Thursday, the body is being kept at RIMS morgue for identification, sources added.
