Social Development Youth Club (SDYC) Moreh has expressed sorrow and concern on the tragedy faced by one Leisangthem Sana Meitei, 42, son of late L Chaoba Meitei of Moreh Heinoumakhong Leikai whose residence and godown were totally razed in a fire that occurred around 12.30 in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. A release from SDYC Moreh stated that the family of Leishangthem Sana had lost almost all of their savings, valuables and properties in the fire that destroyed both his residence and godown. It also appealed to authorities concerned to investigate the cause of the fire and help out the unfortunate family whose savings and property were lost in the incident. SDYC further expressed its gratitude to all the people from various communities residing in Moreh who had come out to help control the fire and stop it from causing further destruction
