The second wave of COVID-19 virus has so far infected 176 children below the age of 18 years in Ukhrul district.
According to DSO Ukhrul, out of the total 176 COVID-19 positive cases among children, 14 are still active. The 176 COVID-19 positive cases in children is a collective cases from day one of COVID-19 pandemic till date.
Since January 16 till date, altogether, 23,055 eligible persons have been vaccinated in Ukhrul district, of which 17, 954 have taken the first dose while 5,101 have been administered both doses.
Ukhrul reported four COVID-19 positive cases, while five patients were discharged on Tuesday taking the cumulative positive and total active cases at 939 and 90 respectively. The cumulative fatalities have reached 27 in the district.
