Manipur Governor Najma Heptulla on Tuesday summoned the 13th session of the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly at 11 am on August 20.

The summon was made in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India, said a summon order issued by secretary of Manipur Legislative Assembly K Meghajit.

Meghajit Singh assumed the charge of secretary, Manipur Legislative Assembly, from Sunday as per orders issued by the state government on July 1.
