Nagaland COVID-19 positive cases rise to 412

Twenty-five new COVID-19 cases were reported on Sunday.

Nagaland on Sunday reported 25 new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the total number of cases to 412, state Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.

The health minister said the new cases were among those 609 samples tested. Of them, 20 cases were reported from Dimapur, three from Kohima and two from Peren, he said.

"25 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 609 samples tested. 20 patients from Dimapur QC, 3 from Kohima QC & 2 from Peren QC," the minister tweeted on Sunday morning.

Of the total 412 confirmed cases in Nagaland, 248 are active cases while 164 patients have recovered from COVID-19, the health minister said.

On Saturday, 16 new cases were reported in the state.
