The People's Task Force for COVID-19 (PTFC) distributed hand sanitisers, face masks and medicines to staff of the various media houses of the state who are working as a frontline warrior amid pandemic.
A release by PTFC said that as an encouragement and support to the people who are tirelessly working in media houses during this crucial time of the pandemic, the task force distributed hand sanitisers, face masks and medicines.
Despite various steps taken by the state government to control the pandemic, COVID-19 positive cases are still surging in the state. Concerning the current situation, people need to strictly follow COVID-19 SOPs and should get vaccinated without any delay to prevent further infection of the virus, it added.
It also appealed that the state government should find a new mechanism to control spread of COVID-19 and mortality rate in the state.
