TLRF lauds minister Dikho on being conferred ‘National Corona Warrior’ award

The Thadou Linguistic Research Forum (TLRF) lauded PHE Minister Losii Dikho, who is also currently the in-charge minister of Kangpokpi and Senapati district for COVID-19 on achieving ‘National Corona Warrior’ award given by the Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur recently in the field of social work.

The Thadou Linguistic Research Forum had compiled a book on Thadou Poetry and History and Minister Losii Dikho himself published the book and officially inaugurated it on May 4, 2021.

Secretary Thadou Linguistic Research Forum Paominlun Lhouvum said that they are fortunate to have a leader like minister Losii Dikho who selflessly works for the welfare of the people. He truly deserves the national corona warrior award for he is truly a Covid warrior, reaching out to all the people irrespective of caste, creed and religion, he said .

While extending his heartiest congratulations to the minister on behalf of the forum, Paominlun Lhouvum said that may the Almighty God continue to bless him with good health and wisdom in his future endeavours.

“Considering his achievement of the prestigious award, we have decided to make the historic and wonderful moment more meaningful and monumental by providing free of cost the English version of  ‘Thadou Poetry and History’ which he published and released it to all tribes and communities in the state as a ‘gift' to honour him and also to show our heartfelt happiness on his achievement,” Paominlun added.

He continued that to begin the distribution of the book, they gave a copy to N Sehjalien Gangte from Gangte Tribe Union at Kangpokpi district headquarters. He said that they intend to let the book be an ambassador for better understanding of culture and tradition, literature, history, etc. among all tribes and communities in the state.
