The Asian Highway Land Affected Villages Chairmen/Chief's Association (AHLAVCCA) and Thadou Students' Association (TSA) Sadar Hills slammed the state revenue commissioner for the alleged contrived meeting resolution issued on July 6 in connection with development of National Highway-2.

The associations jointly stated that after the meeting held on July 6 in the conference hall of Secretariat South Block, Imphal to resolve the issue relating to construction and development of NH-2, the revenue commissioner, Government of Manipur issued a resolution which is not acceptable by the representatives.

They pointed out that the meeting was a casual discussion and no resolution was adopted or taken during the meeting. After the meeting, the revenue commissioner cooked up the resolutions of the meeting on his own without the knowledge of the representatives.
