Manipur Weather Forecast: Thundershowers at isolated places 'very likely' in next four days

Manipur recorded rainfall of 2.0 mm on Tuesday.

Thundershowers is “very likely” at isolated places over Manipur in the next four days, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati.

Imphal: As per the weather bulletin of the Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati, scattered rainfall with thundershowers is "very likely" in Imphal West and Imphal East. It forecasts a dry weather in Imphal West and Imphal East on July 24 and July 23, respectively.

Bishnupur-Thoubal: A fairly widespread rainfall with thundershowers is "very likely" in both Bishnupur and Thoubal districts in the next four days.

Kakching: Dry weather is predicted on July 21 and July 24 while scattered rainfall with thunderstorms is very likely on July 22 and July 23.

Senapati: Scattered rainfall with thunderstorms is expected to prevail in Senapati district for the next four days.

Tamenglong: Fairly widespread rainfall with thundershowers is "very likely" in Tamenglong district till July 24. It also warned of heavy rain at isolated places of the district on July 23.

Kangpokpi: A dry weather is most likely on Wednesday, July 21, while scattered rainfall with thundershowers is predicted from July 22 till July 24.

Ukhrul: Thunderstorms with lightning and heavy rain is very likely at isolated places on Wednesday, July 21, and a fairly widespread rainfall with thundershowers is very likely in the district till July 24.

Kamjong: The weather bulletin also forecast dry weather in Kamjong district on July 21, 22 and 24, while scattered rainfall with thunderstorms is very likely on July 23.

Jiribam: Thunderstorms with lightning at isolated places is very likely in Jiribam district on Wednesday. A fairly widespread rainfall with thundershowers is very likely in the next four days. However, dry weather is most likely on July 22.

Noney: Scattered rainfall with thundershowers is very likely at Noney district on July 21, 22 and 24. Dry weather is predicted on July 23.

Tengnoupal-Chandel-Churachandpur-Pherzawl: Scattered rainfall with thunderstorms is very likely in Tengnoupal district, while fairly widespread rainfall with thundershowers is very likely in Chandel, Churachandpur and Pherzawl for the next four days.

Manipur Temperature: 

On Tuesday, Manipur recorded a maximum temperature of 30.7 degree Celsius while it's minimum temperature was 23.4 degree Celsius. The relative humidity in the morning was 87 per cent but decreased to 70 per cent in the afternoon.
 
The state also recorded rainfall of 2.0 mm on Tuesday, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati.
