The Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) is set to observe the 6th death anniversary of Sapam Robinhood on July 8 at his last rite memorial site, Awaching.

The programme will begin with a ritual function at 6:30 am at Awaching, the site where his last rite was performed. This will be followed by floral tribute and conclude with a public meeting.

The release urged people of the state to light candles at their gates during night time in commemoration to the departed soul of Robinhood as the formal function is going to be observed in low key.

To make the memorial site of Robinhood more significant, JCILPS is constructing the site as an ecological park and would be named it as ‘Yelhoumee Athoubashingee Ningsing Khubam’, it added.
