June 18 observance committee lauds people, organisations for extending support

The observance committee appealed to the people of the state to extend support to the steps taken up by the United Committee Manipur (UCM) and the All Manipur United Club Organisation (AMUCO) to protect the integrity of the state, a release stated.

The observance committee of the Great June Uprising, Unity Day 2021 has expressed its gratitude to all those who took part in the observation even during the pandemic.

The observance committee appealed to the people of the state to extend support to the steps taken up by the United Committee Manipur (UCM) and the All Manipur United Club Organisation (AMUCO) to protect the integrity of the state, a release stated.

The organising committee thanked all individuals who extended contributions in different modes for successful observation of the unity day which was observed with minimum participation in adherence to the COVID-19 SOPs.

It thanked Uripok Helpline and Keishamthong Kendra Ward IX COVID-19 Task Force for their role in sanitising the public at the entrance of Kekrupat and distributing packaged drinking water. It also expressed gratitude to all concerned who observed the unity day in their respective houses and localities and to all blood donors for donating blood in the blood donation camp at JNIMS and RIMS on the unity day.

The Committee further thanked the Imphal West district administration, Manipur police, Arun Enterprise, KISS Sound, Archaeology department and environment department Manipur, Kangla Fort Board, LIKLA Bakery, Selloi Zone and all media for extending support and giving coverage during the observation.
