They were felicitated by the president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) Govindas Konthoujam and Congress Working Committee member Gaikhangam at the MPCC head office at BT Road, Imphal.

Speaking on the felicitation program, Govindas said joining of such prominent leaders in the party will help in strengthening the party and better serving the public. 

Mentioning that Congress party takes up public service by action and not by just words, Govindas appealed to the public to support the Congress party in the upcoming Assembly election of Manipur.
