CWRU members appreciated the kind gesture as most journalists are affected by the lockdown as essentials are hard to procure though they are allowed to move during the lockdown to perform their duties.

CWRU president said that they are thankful to the deputy commissioner Pawan Yaday for helping the reporters in the past, recalling that during the first wave of COVID-19 pandemic, the DC had donated 14 bags of rice to CWRU apart from providing hand sanitizers, face masks and hand gloves constantly, seeing that the media persons are vulnerable as their work demands.
